Owl species vary by season.

During winter (November thru March), species typically available in the Twin Cities are as follows:

Saw Whet, Eastern Screech, Long Eared, Short Eared, Snowy, Barred and Great Horned.

Northern species available in winter include:

Great Gray, Northern Hawk, Snowy, and the possibility of Boreal Owls.

During Spring the owl species typically available in the Twin Cities are Eastern Screech, Great Horned and Barred Owls. Occasionally there is possibility of Saw Whets and Long Eared Owls. Northern Minnesota has the possibility of Great Gray Owls in both winter and warmer months.

No tours are available July thru -October.
